CH-CH-CH-CHANGES.

Hello everyone, Nick here, with a quick update of all things happening in our world of cello-rock.

First of all, thanks to all of our friends that came out to Bohemian Nights @ New West Fest, and to all of the new people we met that stayed and braved the intense heat. That was one of the hottest stages ever, and we did our best to heat it up even more! We’ve uploaded a bunch of photos to the, well, photos section so pop on over and check them out. I’ll wait here.

K, what’d you think? Pretty good stuff huh? Special thanks to Anny for taking such great shots of us. Also, thanks to Sheryl for peddling our wares in the merch tent that afternoon. We have such amazing friends.

Speaking of, recently we were lucky to have stumbled upon Laura Decatur professional photography (wife of local musician Joel Decatur, whose album Amy and myself make guest appearances on, but I digress). They are a new-to Fort-Collins outfit who are sure to be making waves in local photo scene. You can see some of the pics they did for us in the band section of our site here.

Now you may notice there are two people you don’t quite recognize in that photo section. That’s right, we’ve had some lineup changes in the recent weeks. I’d like to take a moment to publicly thank original Bassist Josh Freed who graced our presence with wonderful playing, friendship, and blog posts for the last year and a half. But alas, time marches on and change is inevitable. Josh can no longer be with us, so you’ll be noticing the humorous t-shirts and steady hands of Phil Spencer taking up bass duties.

Also, new to the stage is guitarist Erik Babineau. Post Paradise was playing as backup band to his solo project and things went so well that we decided to add him to the Post Paradise lineup. You’ll be no doubt noticing his exciting solos and backup vocals.

But when, you ask, when can I see you play again and meet this amazing new lineup?? Please direct your attention to the events tab and take a look at what we’ve got in store. September 11th sees us opening for our friends in The Northern Way at the Marquis in Denver. We have $10 presale tickets available that are a little bit cheaper than what you’ll pay at the door. This show will almost surely sell out so contact us at PostParadiseRock@gmail.com if you are interested. Then we’ll be back in town on September 25th to rock Hodi’s Halfnote. You’ll probably see us at Tour de Fat, but we won’t tell you where, you’ll just have to find us :)

That’s it for now kids and kiddies, take care and we’ll see you soon!

Nick
